PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • North End water storage tank provides:
  • Additional fire flow for entire system.
  • 500,000 gallon backup water supply and fire flow for industrial park area when 10" A.C. water distribution main is broken.
  • Significant cost savings by not having to replace 8,200 L.F. of 10" water main.
  • Thinking “outside the box” saved the client nearly $1,000,000.
  • Other system improvements:
  • Replaced fragile A.C. water piping in key parts of distribution system.
  • Provided cross-connections of nearby distribution systems for improved flow and capacity.
  • Pump station upgrade includes new premium efficiency motors, VFD’s and controls to significantly reduce energy costs.
